Project Reflection

For our final product my partner and I made a poster board about recycled fashions. It had information about places like Goodwill and Buffalo Exchange. I think that overall our research and work turned out as something that we should be proud of. The first step of learning about recycle fashions was just researching on the internet about sites and store that support recycling and sustainability. After that we got a poster board and printed out th3e information and pictures that we found. The next thing we did was visit JC Penney, Buffalo Exchange, and Goodwill, all are stores that support recycled clothing. We asked questions and learned a lot which helped us in our presentation. In our process we learned that recycling clothing is easy, you can take your old or unwanted clothes to places like Salvation Army and Goodwill, that give their profits to charities. A challenge that we faced while creating our display was that both of us were absent for a couple days so we lost those days of work. After these past two weeks my definition of sustainability is something that you can use over again and again, like recycling and old can or T-Shirt. To be an environmental steward means that you are responsible for your planet, you will clean up someone else's trash and sacrificed your time for your environment.
